Ruins of ancient buildings wherever the gaze wanders. Beauty and glory behind every corner. This city truly feels like an open air museum. So much history in every corner. And don’t even get me started on the food… Glorious, indeed!

Roma II
Thursday evening was all about the first “main” scenes such as the Colosseum and the Roman Forum.
Yesterday I hiked my feet off to go wave to the pope from afar, basking in the glory of St. Peter’s Cathedral and the Fortress slightly outside Vatican π»π¦ City.
On my way back I also passed by what felt like thousands of churches and chapels and – eventually – La Bocca della Verita or the Mouth of Truth to see whether I’m trustworthy or the guy would bite off my hand π€ Luckily all’s still in place and I’m allowed to continue doodling π¨π
