Alright you guys, I’m getting this lazy butt up and actually post something like on a daily basis… at least for two days in a row 🙂
So today was pool-day again and I went around and took some pics of the area we live in. It’s – of course – called “Walker Ranch” and it’s a so called “gated community” which provides amenities such as two pools, a jacuzzi, a gym etc. Niiice !! (Für Deutsch hier klicken)

While sitting by the pool, not thinking of anything in particular, simply watching the clouds (greetings Evelyn :o)) I was startled by something green right next to my butt… I quickly leaned over towards the other side and saw… a tiny green lizard disappear!!

Almost the same thing happened only a little later on in the wardrobe of our apartment: I went in to get dressed, went out right quick to remove a label from my shirt (I’m a notorious label remover), went back in again to put on something more – and caught a movement out of the corner of my eye, something brownish… holy cow… it’s just the cat 😀

Now I did talk about watching the clouds up there (greetings Evelyn 😉 which is one of my favorites here in San Antonio. The clouds are just perfect, the way I love them, all fluffy and light and almost always moving with the winds. Yes, the way they’re supposed to flow when you’re meditating to take away your thoughts (greetings Rolf ;-). However, I was sitting there, not thinking anything bad when the first cloud passed by and… looked like a hand showing me the finger!! What?!?? That’s not right. If I want to see that I can just go out there and get someone pissed off and – there you go, exactly that finger again. Well, that was it for today’s cloud watching… Good thing there’s other fun stuff to do – like renting a DVD for only a couple of bucks 🙂 Enjoy your weekend, everyone!!

In Ordnung Leute, ich erhebe diesen faulen Hintern und beginne endlich, moeglichst taeglich etwas zu posten… zumindest zwei Tage hintereinander 🙂
Heute war also wieder Pool-Tag angesagt und auf dem Weg dorthin bin ich noch etwas rumspaziert und habe einige Fotos der Umgebung, in der wir leben, geschossen. Diese heisst – natuerlich – “Walker Ranch” und es handelt sich dabei um eine sogenannte eingezeunte Gemeinschaft welche Annehmlichkeiten wie zwei Pools, ein Sprudelbad, ein Fitnesszenter etc. bietet. Neeett!!
Waehrend ich dann am Pool sass und an nichts Bestimmtes dachte, lediglich den Wolken nachschaute (Gruesse Evelyn :o)) erschreckt mich etwas Gruenes direkt neben meinem Hintern… Schnell lehnte ich mich auf die andere Seite und sah… eine winzig kleine gruene Eidechse verschwinden!!
Fast das Gleiche passierte nur wenig spaeter noch einmal in unserer Ankleide: Ich ging rein, um mich anzuziehen, ging ganz kurz raus um ein Label an einem Shirt zu entfernen (ich bin ein notorischer Label-Entferner), ging wieder rein um noch was anderes anzuziehen – und nahm aus einem Augenwinkel eine Bewegung wahr, etwas braeunliches… heiliger Bimbam… es ist nur die Katze 😀
Nun, ich sprach weiter oben davon, wie ich die Wolken beobachtete (Gruesse Evelyn 😉 was zu meinen bevorzugten Dingen hier in San Antonio gehoert. Die Wolken sind einfach perfekt, so wie ich sie liebe, total fluffig und leicht und reiten praktisch immer mit dem Wind davon. Ja genau, so wie die Wolken, welche die Gedanken beim Meditieren davontragen sollen (Gruesse Rolf ;-). Wie auch immer, ich sass also da, dachte an nichts Boeses als die erste Woke vorbeizog und… aussah wie eine Hand die mir den Stinkefinger zeigt!! Was?!?? Das ist einfach nicht richtig. Um das zu sehen haette ich bloss rausgehen und jemanden stinkesauer machen muessen und – voila, schon hast du genau diesen Finger. Nun ja, das war’s dann mit dem heutigen Woken beobachten… Gut, dass es andere lustige Sachen zu tun gibt – wie fuer nur grad etwa zwei Dollar eine DVD mieten 🙂 Geniesst eurer Wochenende!!
