It is berry season – my favorite!! Be it blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, cherries… pretty much no matter what – I love it ❤️
So these days I’m basically living off greet yogurt with berries for breakfast 😋
Have a berry merry Tuesday!

Today is my superior’s birthday. He is one of those people who are impossibly gifted in many areas of life. But (one of) his main passions are still numbers and coding, if I’m not mistaken.
Thanks for the daily inspiration and happy birthday boss!

This year I’ve seen more young calves out on the pastures for the first time frolicking at their hearts’ desire than any other year.
It is heartwarming to see how much joy they derive from simply being outside, enjoying the fresh air and new sights.
How simple yet joyful life seems when seen through a fresh pair of eyes. Thank you four-legged creatures for bringing your joy to me and letting me in on the beauty of outdoors.

Celebrating togetherness.

On last Sunday’s bicycle ride I was quite depleted and needed some energy intake from the bistro by the lake. I opted for a hazelnut croissant.
My brother had one too and when he studied the ingredients a brist of laughter hit him when he read “Brösel” which means (bread)crumbs. Neither of us had any idea you had to especially add them for pastry to crumble.

Yesterday’s poppy flowers still managed to inspire me to doodle a little. Created a mix of spring flowers. Enjoy!

I love poppy flowers. Not for their opioid abilities (which of I recall correctly one one kind of poppies contain) but for their simple beauty. Especially when haphazardly strewn into a field of wheat or wild grass.
As I found myself unable to capture the splendor of this field the photo has to do for once.

Today while I was in a board call. Kitty found either my typing away the minutes or the chatter of the discussion deeply soothing. Good for him. Nothing much to do other than work or sleep away your days when it’s mostly raining out.

Know those days? When you get up and start working at 7am and by the time you stop working at 7pm you’re still nursing a coffee after all the virtual rushing around.
For me what changed at least was that I washed my hair after a (literal) run over lunch and I got a whole bunch of work done in those hours – score!
